Basic Photography
Getting to know your camera. A brief and basic course for the absolute beginner to get to grips with all those buttons, and for the intermediate that just wants to remind themselves of the basics.
You will never shoot on Auto again!

Intermediate Photography
What else does my camera do? A more in depth look at camera usage. Once you have learnt the basics you will want to really find out what else your camera can do. This course is designed for beginners and intermediates who want to learn about their cameras more advanced controls.
Learn things like understanding and obtaining the correct white balance in your images, exposure techniques like bracketing and exposure compensation.

Basic Lighting
It’s all about the lighting, right? Additional lighting both on and off camera, natural or artificial, makes the difference between an ok shot and a "wow" shot. Spend an evening learning about flash and fixed lighting techniques, getting to grips with the equipment and experimenting with different modifiers. This course is designed for the beginner and the intermediate photographer looking to improve their photography exponentially through the addition of external lighting.

Advanced Lighting
Once you have got to grips with the basics, it is time to move on to some more advanced techniques. This course is designed for people who want to delve deeper into the world of external photographic lighting, exploring different setups and techniques used in professional photography.

Postproduction
Once it has been shot what are you going to do with it? This workshop is designed for the beginner and the intermediate photographer that wants to learn the basics of post-production and preparation for printing of their work. Using the latest software and digital post production techniques you will learn the basics of Photoshop editing and resizing for print and web.

Photobook Making
Printing and uploading your work to the web are not the only ways you can present your work. Learn the basics of photobook making by creating your very own book, stitched and bound.
This workshop is spread over two, 3hr evening sessions and costs £70, all materials and kit are provided. coffee and biscuits are available.
